Elstree Studios has a special meaning for Starwars fans, as it is the home of Starwars, where parts of the original trilogy of films were filmed. To the exten there is still a George Lucas Stage, named for the great man himself.
We were lucky enough to be invited as part of the UK Garrison to attend the Elstree Comicon, and even lucky enough to be allowed into the hallowed ground of the outside of the George Lucas Stage.
